Software Upgrade
- Under the Thomson Broadcast SLA, you will have access to all software updates within the deployed software release of the purchased platform. As an option, software upgrades as well as on-site deployments can be quoted on request or can be included into a prepaid yearly fee for custom SLA contracts. Software upgrades do not include any hardware changes.
Training
- Tailored training services for your staff is available through several optional generic courses on the latest generation of technologies on Thomson Broadcast’s US or EU sites, or on client site. In addition to standard equipment sessions, custom training programs and generic training courses can include:
- Training on Thomson Broadcast Radio or TV equipment commissioning, operations, corrective and preventive maintenance
- Training on TV coverage studies and antenna system calculations
- Training on digital TV standards, measurements on analog and digital TV systems
Preventive Maintenance Visits
- A preventive maintenance visit, as an option, by a Thomson Broadcast expert allows for a general status of the transmitter system in order to evaluate and propose adaptive solutions such as:
- Evaluation of necessary action to refurbish station
- Evaluation and quote of necessary spare parts
- Upgrade of transmitter with maintenance facilities (SNMP, web server)
- Evaluate upgrade options from analog to digital
Assigned SLA Manager
- In order to ensure fast and efficient solutions, a dedicated SLA contract manager can be assigned in order to ensure that all required resources are available to meet client satisfaction. The SLA manager will be the point of contact for your service team and bring in Thomson Broadcast specialists when required.
Dedicated Hotline Services
- For clients who wish to have 24/7 assistance as an option, a dedicated hotline number is available to reach our trained engineers in case of specific client transmission issues associated with Thomson Broadcast equipment. In case of critical failure, Thomson Broadcast will provide technical phone support response within two hours.
